Internationally acclaimed artist LeRoy Neiman has created a vibrant image to commemorate the 39th Ryder Cup matches to be held at Medinah Country Club in suburban Chicago, Illinois in September of 2012.

Neiman's colorful artwork captures the drama of this biennial competition between the finest golfers representing the United States and Europe as the teams tee off in the pivotal Sunday singles matches. The legendary Byzantine-styled clubhouse and signature putting green buzz with activity and anticipation of the unfolding scene. Neiman has further captured the action at the first tee of Medinah’s historic Course #3 that dates back to the 1920’s. This classic original painting measures 4’ x 6’, and is a testament to its subject matter.

Neiman says, “To have a chance to paint Medinah Country Club and to give something back to the city of Chicago where I have so many great friends and fond memories, is truly an honor and inspired my creativity.”
